Are Knest homes permanent or temporary?

Knest homes are designed as permanent residences. They comply with the National Construction Code and relevant Australian standards, unlike some tiny homes or relocatable dwellings.

What is the difference between a modular home and a project home?

A modular home is built in a controlled factory environment and then delivered to site for installation, while a project home is constructed entirely on site from start to finish.

With modular homes, much of the construction happens at the same time as site works, which can significantly reduce build time and improve quality control.

Yes. Our standard homes comply with BAL 12.5, with upgrades available to BAL 40 at minimal additional cost compared to traditional construction.

Our standard homes achieve a 7-star energy rating, with upgrades available to 8-star. This ensures excellent insulation, comfort, and reduced energy bills.

What materials are used in Knest homes?

Only high-quality, tested, and certified materials are used. All tapware is watermarked, and plumbing inspection points are designed into each module for compliance and ease of maintenance.

How long does it take to build a Knest home?
