Knest homes are designed as permanent residences. They comply with the National Construction Code and relevant Australian standards, unlike some tiny homes or relocatable dwellings.

A modular home is built in a controlled factory environment and then delivered to site for installation, while a project home is constructed entirely on site from start to finish.
